Rapidly Growing Healthcare IT Leader Adds Respected Executive to Lead Development of New Updox Innovations and Solutions

In this role, Harris will lead the staff responsible for executing the Updox roadmap for new products and services that further enhance the value of the Updox Direct Network (UDN), the largest in the nation and used by more than 45 of the nation’s leading electronic health records (EHRs), and the Updox CRM platform. The UDN serves a full spectrum of health care, including hospitals, ambulatory, acute care, specialty practices, medical labs, dental practices and small and mid-sized practices, to assist with the transfer of clinical and administrative data.

Harris brings almost 20 years of experience to his role at Updox. He’s a respected IT expert with strong, diverse background working for organizations of all sizes, including international, national and start-up businesses. He’s recognized as an outstanding team builder and technology leader with noted expertise in strategic planning, technology roadmaps and Agile development.
A recipient of industry awards and featured in national publications, Harris is a regular presenter on technology topics such as innovation, engagement and Agile methodology. Prior to Updox, he held product development roles with Ecommerce, Pillar Technology, Skybus Airlines, Best Transport and CheckFree. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Otterbein University and has Six Sigma certification.
